Funny. I know that people go nuts sometimes, but when they do it in the name of religion, it drives me nuts!
Maybe the Christians were being insufferably obnoxious.

The thing is that in the West we’re used to thinking of Buddhism as a sort of non-religion, something scientific and open-minded. When you experience Buddism in the East, however, it’s as much a religion as Judaism, Christianity and Islam is over here. They have their share of bigots and fundamentalists. It’s not about religion, it’s about people.
